When creating buttons and headings with CSS, I think there are many opportunities to center the text inside the box. I also had an opportunity to write CSS lately. For my notes, I wrote it down here how to place where you want it.

Centering with text-align and padding

<div class="wrap pattern-1 mgb-20">
padding:20px 0;

This is the method to center the characters and add same size padding on the top and bottom. The problem is that the height of elements and amount of characters are affected by font-size and the number of lines.

Some developer tools are not yet available on M1 mac.
It was necessary to devise to build the Node.js environment. It seems safe to make with Rosetta until it supports M1. You can install homebrew as well.

Go to finder and find Terminal there.

This is a note for error handling.

import React from 'react';

I got the error in all directories of my project.

Could not find a declaration file for module ‘react’. ‘/Users/username/projects/project-name/node_modules/react/index.js’ implicitly has an ‘any’ type.
If the ‘react’ package actually exposes this module, consider sending a pull request to amend......

When I googled for this error handling, it is found that:

“noImplicitAny”: false,

It said that above line should be added. However, it did not work for me. On the contrary, “noImplicitAny” is not being in my tsconfig.json.

Since react is not written in typescript and the type is…

I’ve been using FileAPI lately. Then, I was confusing FileList and Array.

What can FileList do originally?

This type of objects returned by the files property of the <input> element gives you access to the list of files selected by the <input type = “file”> element.

FileList seems like “Isn’t it inheriting Array ?”

However, I got an error that FileList cannot be treated as an Array because it is regarded as just an object.

FileList can be used with for loop if it is stored in another Array, however if you really would like to handle it as a FileList, I propose as follow using from and foreach.

Array.from(file).forEach(item => {
var reader = new FileReader();
reader.onload = function(event) {

If you know another better way, please let me know about it !

The Poisson regression with Python from scratch to better understand it. A useful Python library called statsmodels which can perform regression analysis in an instant is available. However, I have tried to implement it without using Python library for having a deeper understanding.

In this article, we’ll cover simple explanation of Poisson regression, important probability concepts and how to code it without Python library.

What is Poisson ?

Poisson regression is used to model response variables (Y-values) that are counts. It tells you which explanatory variables have a statistically significant effect on the response variable. Count data counts the number of times a certain…
